Wheel of the Zodiac  (Astrology Workshop)

An archetypal journey through the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac from Aries to Pisces.

We all know there’s more to astrology than star signs so if you’ve always dreamed of deepening your knowledge, this morning workshop is a great place to start.

The workshop is specially designed for those with little or no knowledge of Astrology who’d like to learn more about this fascinating subject.  You might know you’re a Gemini or Cancer, but do you know your moon sign? And what about your Ascendant or Rising Sign?  And more importantly, do you know what it all means and how to use this knowledge to maximize your potential and live in harmony with your environment?

Secrets of the Major Arcana (Tarot Workshop)

Meet the Fool, the Empress, the Magician & all the other exciting characters of the Tarot Major Arcana.

If you’ve always dreamed of learning to read tarot for yourself or friends and family, this morning workshop is a great place to start.  And it’s specially designed for those with little or no knowledge of Tarot who’d like to learn more about this fascinating subject.  

The twenty two cards of the Tarot Major Arcana tell the story of the Fool’s Journey from innocence through childhood, adolescence, love, trial, tribulation, sacrifice and wisdom towards enlightenment and fulfilment.  The Fool is Everyman or Everywoman. We can use the Major Arcana cards to learn more about the process of individuation or we can interpret the images individually as they relate to our lives at any given point.

This workshop is designed to be both practical and esoteric, both fun and educational. By the end of the morning you’ll have learned heaps about yourself and I guarantee you’ll be itching to get home and try out all the spreads you’ve learned.

Speed Dating with the Court Cards (Tarot Workshop)

Why does the Page of Swords never hand in his homework? What made Amanda fall in love with the King of Cups? And what do you think happened when the Knight of Wands went backpacking with the Knight of Pentacles?

Many tarot readers, even experienced professionals, struggle to understand the Court Cards and incorporate them in readings. In this workshop, Stella will introduce those Queens and Pages as the people you meet on an everyday basis - the girl at the office, the man in the bakery, your husband, wife, favourite grandson etc. Next time they pop up in a reading, you'll know exactly who you're dealing with.

And once you've learned how to spot and identify these characters, what could be more fun than to put them in some awkward or amusing situations and see what happens?

Hi Stella - I've been meaning to say thanks since the Court Card workshop. I had a great time although it did push some buttons for me. Mysteries of the Minor Arcana (Tarot Workshop)

When you’re learning Tarot, it’s easy to get seduced by the glamour of the Major Arcana and the subtle psychology of the Court Cards.  The humble Minor Arcana should not be overlooked.  These cleverly designed images describe the nuts and bolts of everyday life.  Who’s cheating on who?  How can I stand up to my sister or lose weight?  Will I be able to buy that house? Who’s going to fall pregnant?  And why didn’t I get a promotion? 

Over the course of the morning we’ll cover the Ace to Ten cards of each of the four suits – Wands (Fire), Pentacles (Earth), Swords (Air) and Cups (Water) – forty cards in all.  Once you’ve grasped the meanings of the cards, I’ll show you two different spreads to make the cards come alive in your own life.

Specially designed for those with little or no knowledge of Tarot who’d like to learn more about this fascinating subject, this workshop will also appeal to those who’ve studied Tarot in the past but would like to brush up on their skills. Now you've learned all about your tarot cards and practised on your own at home or with friends, it's time to take the next step! 

Can you do a relationship reading using tarot? What if someone's having problems with their finances? What spread would you use for a yearly forecast or helping someone dealing with an ethical dilemma or health issue?  And what if they just want a 'general' reading?

This workshop is designed for those with a working knowledge of tarot who want to expand and improve their reading skills.  We'll check out a variety of different spreads and then put them into practice using real life questions and situations from workshop participants.
